Ballyferriter

From Slea Head, Dingle Pennisula - one of the most astonishing landscapes in the country.

Clogher Strand

Clogher Strand

I used to do a lot of panoramic photos.  Time was, that was all I did. I haven't done one in ages now...but I'm glad I put this one together.

It reminded me that, years ago, I used to want to try capture as much of a scene as I could...20, 30 photos merged to create one enormous image. Now I've learnt a bit more, I think I'm happier to focus more on the details.

I love this place; the sweep of the landscape, the drama of the sky, the colours underfoot - all coalesce for me to a feeling...a deep-down connection. It's a beautiful thing. Feels like home.

It must remind me of the rolling hills of Cavan...
