Limited Edition Glicée print, with archival inks, printed on Hahnemühle archival Photorag paper.

Looking west towards the flying buttresses on the southern elevation of Christchurch Cathedral, the older of Dublin’s two medieval cathedrals, founded in c. 1030 by Sitriuc, King of Dublin following a pilgrimage to Rome. It was located right at the heart of Medieval Dublin. The present building was constructed under Archbishop Laurence O’Toole and Richard de Clare (Strongbow) in 1172. It was remodelled in the 1830s by Matthew Price, and a more complete reconstruction was carried out in the 1870s to designs by George Edmund Street, financed by distiller Henry Roe.
