Oftentimes I will get struck by a corner that has no particular significance. This is No. 5 Cambridge Villas at the junction with Castlewood Park in Rathmines, a leafy terrace of Victorian redbricks built in the late 1800s. In 1911 John McClure, an agent, lived here with his English wife Rose, their two teenage daughters Eleanor and Margaret, and a domestic servant from Co. Wicklow named Margaret Bagnath
