In many ways I have this little, end-of-terrace house to thank for much of my photographic work over the last few years. I remember being struck by how quietly epic it looked to me, and by how many stories its walls must contain in the century or so since its construction.
In 1911 Bridget Downes, a dressmaker, lived here with her 4 children; Philip, James, Elizabeth and Mary. A seamstress named Ellen Arclier from Kilkenny city also boarded with them.
All images are printed with a 10mm handling border. Should you have any further requirements regarding printing,
