There’s a beautiful bronze plaque on the gable end of Madden’s Buildings, called the Bull and Drover, by Kevin Holland, which commemorates when this site was used as a cattle market. Madden’s buildings, 1886, was the 1st scheme built to try eradicate slum housing from the north side of the city, designed by Michael Joseph Mc Mullen
